eLearning Papers No 30
The topic of the 30th issue will be ‘21st century teachers and their workplace’. It will deal with the question what it means to be a teacher in the knowledge society. This issue will seek practical examples from the present and take a look into the future. Provisional date of publication: July 2012

‘Media & Learning 2012’
The Media & Learning 2012 Conference is the place to be if you are interested in the latest developments, services and uses of media in education and training. Aimed at both policy makers and practitioners, the purpose of this annual event is to identify policies and initiatives that promote digital and media competence at all levels of education and training as well as to promote best-practice in the take-up and application of media in education and training. Community ‘Mainstreaming eLearning in National Policies (Digital Agenda Assembly)’ A new online platform has been launched to discuss the Digital Agenda for Europe. Neelie Kroes, Vice-President of the European Commission, published the news in her blog. The elearningeuropa.info community members have gathered a variety of materials about this topic.
